Je m’appelle Michael Derrossett, originaire de Californie, j’ai travaillé pendant plus de 10 ans en tant qu’artiste Smoke et Flame, puis j’ai évolué vers l’étalonnage, travaillant d’abord avec Luster puis avec DaVinci Resolve. Désormais établi en France, je compte à travers le monde de nombreux clients satisfaits. En effet, plus qu’un simple étalonneur, je suis un créatif audacieux, un professionnel talentueux sur lequel vous pourrez toujours compter et je serai pour vous un collaborateur et un confident. Tirer avec passion et authenticité le meilleur parti des outils disponibles pour donner vie à l’impossible, être l’interprète fidèle et transparent de la vision d’un auteur, telle est ma mission. My name is Michael Derrossett, I’m a colorist and finishing artist originally from California who now lives in France, with happy clients around the globe. I began as a smoke and flame artist, and have gradually moved towards color, first with Lustre and now with DaVinci Resolve. I am more than just a colorist, I am a collaborator, a confidant, a creative adventurer, a professional you can trust. I work with the tools at hand to dive deep and explore all that is possible, and even push for that which might seem impossible. I believe that if I do my job well, it should seem as if I have done nothing at all. My touch should be impulsive, intrinsic, invisible, real. “Good enough” is never the goal. Perfection is.
Over the years, I have had the distinct pleasure of working with extremely talented cinematographers, directors, producers, and technicians. This site is meant to show the work that I have done in collaboration with these amazing people, and also to shed light on what it takes to help bring their vision and unique stories to life.
